BOOKING

  • "How do I make a booking for more than one tent?"
  • Enter all details for the first pitch of your booking , then you will be asked if you would like to make another booking, click YES and enter the details for your next pitch. (For up to four pitches, larger groups should contact reception).
  • "Do you take motorhomes or trailer tents?"
  • Sorry, no, we are strictly tents only.
  • "Can we bring our dog?"
  • Yes, dogs are welcome, as long as they on leads and cleaned up after, we charge a small fee per dog.
  • "I want to come camping tomorrow but I can't book through your website?"
  • There is a cut-off time for booking online, please call reception to make your booking.


ON SITE

  • "Can I cook on the firebowls?"
  • Absolutely, each firebowl has a grid on top to cook on.
  • "Is the pond safe for children?"
  • We have a safety grid system on the pond, there is only every a small depth of water above this.
  • "This is our first time camping, do I need to bring lots of equipment?"
  • No! At Ruberslaw we have a fully equipped kitchen with two freezers for ice packs, a cooker, microwave, toasters, kettles. We also have a washing machine and drying facilities. There are tables and chairs in the Hub where you can have your meals.
  • "I'm camping in the walled garden, do cars stay in the car park?"
  • Yes, in the walled garden we have trolleys to get all of your gear from your car to your pitch.  This helps maintain the tranquility and safety within the garden.
  • "Is the water in the sinks safe for drinking water?"
  • The water in the kitchen sinks is suitable for drinking, all from mains supply. The water in the bottles at the thunderboxes is also from mains supply, changed daily.


OUT & ABOUT

  • "How long does it take to walk up to the top of Ruberslaw?"
  • It generally takes about an hour from the Hub, worth every step!
